The wheels on the bus...

Eight High School Tours from Minnesota are arriving in St. Louis and Kansas City this weekend!

School is back in session, the leaves are turning, and fall is in the air. To STLF that means one thing - It's Tour Time! Loading the Bus!

This week marks a special time for STLF as eight Tours are taking to the road from all over Minnesota. Over 26 Minnesota High Schools will be represented as over 260 young people begin to contribute over 6,000 hours of direct service to our nation.  Even much more than the hours of service are the ideas and energy of hundreds of young people returning home with a commitment to leadership and action.

For STLF, today represents the largest group of High School students EVER on the road!

For many of the students, this could be their first time serving soup at a soup kitchen, or building a habitat home, or having a conversation across the generations at a nursing home. Through the power of coming together, bridging relationships, and sharing ideas - these first time service opportunities will grow into real action and young people making a difference in our home communities.

It's going to be a great week!
