STLF Host Committee Recruiting Members!
Interested in volunteering with STLF? Join the Annual Event Host Committee!

Students Today Leaders Forever is looking for committed individuals to assist in the preparation and planning of the Annual Fundraising Event by being members of the Host Committee. This evening is designed to both engage prior members and committed friends of the organization as well as local community members with the shared purpose of
creating a better world and believing in our young people. The event will be held on the evening of October 1 at Crowne Plaza in downtown Minneapolis and will include both silent and live auctions as well as general networking and socializing.
Primary Responsibilities of the Host Committee
As a member of the Host Committee you will be asked for general assistance with regards to logistics and overall planning of the event in addition to:
- Determining theme
- Deciding ticket prices
- Selling tickets
- General promotion of the event
- Obtaining both silent and live auction items and
- Locating sponsors
Our ideal host committee member is committed to the event and willing to attend most monthly planning meetings, has a connection to the community including the young professional network, and have the potential to bring creativity and energy to the event.
