Season of Giving

STLF’s ‘Word of the Year’ is DISCOVER.  Every summer, our student leadership comes together to discuss what STLF needs the most in the coming year.  Students chose discover because it represents the energy of the organization, the impact of our programs, and the action of our students. 

2009 has been an incredible year for STLF:

·         2,524 students discovered more about themselves and the world by participating in STLF programs.

·         387 students discovered the power of collaboration and leadership by leading an STLF program. 

·         251 unique communities discovered the inspiration of youth because of Pay it Forward Tour community service projects.

In 2010, we will continue to expand our staff and broaden our reach, ensuring that more youth can experience STLF programs.  We attribute the possibilities of the year ahead to your support and dedication.   I would like to share one more number with you:  1,126.  This is the number of donations that have helped make STLF programs possible this year.  Please consider adding to this number by making a financial contribution to STLF.
