Executive Director Transition Announced
STLF is proud to welcome Josh Reimnitz (NDSU 2008) to the family!
Author: Irene Fernando, STLF
Brian, Greg, and I were sitting in an Executive Strategy Meeting last
year, and a smart man told us: "You can't land a plane from 10,000 feet
to the ground right away. It needs to be gradual, and you need to plan
for it." We were talking about succession planning-- the strategic,
intentional course of action organizations take to ensure
sustainability, longevity, and growth. With three Co-Executive
Directors practicing the Core Model, it is important for STLF to move forward with the best of the
organization in mind.
After announcing G
reg's transition out a few months ago, STLF
diligently executed a plan to identify the next person that would
transition into our Core. I am thankful to the Board of Directors, HR
Committee, and other supporters for helping us through this process. We
have taken every step to ensure the best possible candidates had applied, and the best fit among the candidates to transition into the
Co-Executive Director Role.
We are proud to announce that Josh Reimnitz will be joining the
team! His focus will be Development, and his transition will begin this
summer.
Josh is a proud Bison of North Dakota State
University. He was involved in STLF all through college (since 2005), co-
founding the STLF Chapter at NDSU and positioning that Chapter for the
success it sees today. Josh served in several leadership roles on
campus and within the community, including Student Body President,
writing for NDSU publications, hosting a radio show, announcing Bison sports, and serving on many
different boards and committees as a student representative. Currently, he is serving his
second year of Teach for America in Atlanta, GA.
Josh truly exemplifies the meaning of servant leader. His positive
energy, openness, and desire for change make him an excellent addition
to STLF Staff. We are excited to welcome Josh, and look forward to his
ideas and fervor for life!
