Welcome to STLF's U of Iowa Chapter website. Here we will keep you posted with updates and opportunities for involvement in STLF at Iowa. Thanks for your interest!
The Iowa Chapter of STLF was founded by three students in 2007. Our chapter is currently preparing for our third year on campus. Students Today Leaders Forever at Iowa has planned, organized, and facilitated the Pay It Forward Tour from Iowa the past two years. We are also dedicated to participating in various service projects and other local initiatives on campus and around the greater Iowa City community throughout the year. If you have an idea to make a difference at UI, don't hesitate to contact us! STLF is a great group of people to help make your service ideas a reality.
Weekly meetings are held in the Kirkwood Room (#257) of the Iowa Memorial Union, Wednesdays at 8pm. Drop us an email at stlfhawkeyes@gmail.com to stay current on future meetings and service projects. Hope to see you there!
This upcoming spring break, Students Today Leaders Forever at
Iowa will be loading two buses with over forty students apiece to travel and
serve across the country. We will be
visiting six different communities, each with exciting new places to explore
and unique service projects to volunteer.
More information about Pay It Forward 2010 will be available in
September.

In March of 2009, STLF at Iowa sent out its second Pay It Forward Tour. Once again, the chapter packed a bus with forty three college students looking to change the world and ventured from the city of Iowa City towards Houston, Texas. With the aid of Driver Dave, who, by the way, was the coolest bus driver ever, STLF at Iowa cleaned tiger cages in Arkansas (above), dined at the famous Walnut Hills Restaurant in Vicksburg, Mississippi, caught some beach sun in Galveston, and came back as a family.
More information about Pay It Forward 2010 will be available in September. We hope you will be a part of this incredible experience!
