Glory Days Tour General Information:

The moment we have all been waiting for has arrived.  Back by popular demand, the Glory Days Tour is back!  Don't miss your chance to take part in an amazing weekend aboard the Glory Days Tour.  A weekend Tour from Minneapolis, MN, to Houghton, MI.  The Tour is open to STLF Alumni who are at least a year out of college and their guests.  There are only 43 spots available for this Tour, so make sure to register early!

Route and Itinerary:

The second Glory Days Tour will be departing Minneapolis, MN, early in the afternoon on Thursday, July 19, 2012.    The Tour will return to Minneapolis on the evening of Sunday, July 22.

GDT Minneapolis Edition Tour Route:

Departure:  Minneapolis, MN
City 1:           Turtle Lake, WI
City 2:           Ashland, WI
City 3:           Houghton, MI

Optional Pre-Tour Service and Dinner:

For those who are able to take part, we will have a group volunteering early on the morning of July 19.  We will also have an optional dinner at the departure site starting at 5:00 PM, and we plan to load the bus by 6:00 PM.  Transportation to the service project is not provided.  If you need a ride, let us know and we can organize car pools!

Registration:

Registration and credit card payment for the Tour is all online in one easy process.  Registration will open online on February 29 -- 2/29 at 11:29 am.

2nd to register and receive an autographed photo of the core.

9th to register and get a 90s movie night with the core.

17th to register and have a video made just for you.

31st to register becomes royalty for a day on the Tour.

Investment:

Taking part in a Glory Days Tour also means making a significant contribution to STLF.  This contribution is an investment in youth and will result in more students having the opportunity to experience an STLF program.  

Total Cost $450: Includes $250 Tax-deductible Donation
The total cost of the Glory Days Tour is $450, the same as the current cost of the College Pay It Forward Tour.  Of this total amount, $200 pays for the direct costs associated with your experience.  That amount covers all travel, lodging at hotels each night, 2 meals per day, a t-shirt of course, and more fun and excitement than you could ever dream of. 

The remaining amount is equal to the cost of a full high school Tour registration for a student in financial need, and is $250.  This amount of $250 will be considered a tax-deductible donation to STLF.  This will also be the amount of the non-refundable down payment for the Tour.
