MFAS High School Pay It Forward Tour!

One bus of students from four schools across Minneapolis will travel to St. Louis, MO, on the first ever Pay It Forward Tour from Minneapolis. The students will be from four alternative schools that are part of the Metropolitan Federation of Alternative Schools (MFAS) in Minneapolis. There are two schools from North Minneapolis and two schools from South Minneapolis represented. These students will be the beginning of a tradition of service that can continue and spread through their community in the coming years.

STLF Partnering with MFAS to Make Tour Possible:
The Tour is being made possible through a collaboration between STLF and the Metropolitan Federation of Alternative Schools (MFAS). Four schools that are part of MFAS that will be participating in this innaugural year of the program for them:

• PYC Alternative High School
• VOA Alternative Education Center
• The City Inc. - South
• Minneapolis Urban League Academy

Tour Dates and Registration:
The Tour will take place from May 19-23, 2008. The bus is limited to 35 students, and will be led and organized by a team of volunteer college student leaders in STLF. In addition, staff from each school will be present on the program.

Program made possible through Donations:
This Tour is being offered at little to no cost to the students. This means that the program is supported through individual donors like yourself. We appreciate your support in making this program possible for 35 students. Learn how to make a donation to STLF for this cause!
