College chapters drive STLF growth.
Thirteen college chapters throughout the Midwest.
After its founding at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus, STLF has spread throughout the Midwest, with expansion outside of this region with the next few years. To be officially recognized, all STLF chapters:
- Are offiicually recognized by STLF National.
- Are officially recognized by their College/University.
- Have an established and regular working relationship with STLF National.
- Meet student organization requirements specific to each College/University.
- Possess and abide by a University and STLF approvied Constitution.
- Work under The Core Model leadership structure.
- Has the Pay it Forward Tour as its main program.
College chapters are the backbone of STLF success.
Without college students, STLF programs would not be possible. These college leaders are the drivers behind the organization—they lead our Pay it Forward Tours on all levels, they are the counselor crew members at High School Leadership Camp, they run our chapters, and promote our organization. STLF is extremely thankful and forever indebted to the work and dedication of its college leaders.
STLF supports through relationships and opportunities.
These leadership experiences are two-fold. College students in these roles help STLF grow, while STLF provides an opportunity for students to develop and hone their personal leadership skills. STLF National works hard to maintain a strong relationship with each of its chapters. In addition, college chapters have access to two retreats and two conferences each year, as a means of relaying information and more leadership experience.
